Today was a fun day. . .
It is my 42nd birthday and I have had a great trip through Yellowstone Nathional Park with my friends the Gray's.
Dave is our tour guide and driver. We take the big loop up around Mammoth Hot Springs, the Canyon and back to Island Park.

Patty and Dave on the boardwalk. We took a nice long hike around Mammoth Hot Springs, had a picnic in a beautiful spot after the canyons and then still had time for a hike as we got back around nearing the end of the park . .. my favorite hike with the gurgling mud! 
Here is the beautiful spot we had a picnic and watched some funny chickmunks and ground squirrels fighting over nuts and waiting for a handout. 
We saw 2 bears accross the field up above Mammoth Hot Springs and before the canyon. There were plenty of cars but we were lucky enough to have Dave's binnoculars in the car ready to see them. It was awesome seeing real live bears. We saw plenty of elk and a bunch or two of buffalo.
